The People of the Book (Ahl-Al-Kitab).
In Islam, the phrase People of the Book is a term used to describe Christians and the Jews, people they also refer to as kafir meaning "unbeliever or disbeliever."
Today, threats of violence against Ahl-Al-Kitab are common. Spend a few minutes on Youtube and you'll find see plenty of threats against Christians and Jews that are carried out daily against the People of the Book all over the world.
It is time for the concerned Christians and Jews to band together.
There is a growing number of Muslims who hate America, hate Israel, and really hate the Zionists. A Zionist is simply a person who believes in the right of self determination for Israel and for a Jewish national homeland. The word Zion is mentioned 168 times in The Book. The word Jerusalem is mentioned 622 times in the Torah and referred to thousands of times by other names.
The land of Israel and the city of Jerusalem are NEVER mentioned in the Quran.
Considering what has happened to the Jews over the centuries, the Holocaust; the forgotten refugees; the pogroms; the diaspora; and to think that there are 48 Muslim majority nations in the world.....the idea of hating the only Jewish state in the world, Israel seems really a Red Herring to divert from the real issue of generational pandemic racism in the form of anti-Semitism.
One way anti-Semitism manifests itself is in the form of "BDS," Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions, against Israel. This is an attempt to economically destroy Israel (soft jihad). There is a disproportionate amount of selective angst towards America for giving financial aid to Israel while people ignore the billions in aid America gives to Muslim countries (Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan et all) including the Palestinians, who get the most econimic aid per capita then anybody in the world!
America gives financial aid to the Palestinians both directly and indirectly through the UN (of which America is the largest donor nation), yet the Palestinians are demanding all of Israel and the Right of Return of four million Muslims to change the demographics of Israel. They eventually want to wipe the Jews from the face of Israel (from the river to the sea).
